Post-baby style and beauty - who's in?

My DD is three weeks old and I feel like I want to get a bit of 'me' back.

I had an EMCS so recovery has been slow and today I just felt tearful and desperate at still being in my dressing gown at 1pm.

Anyone in for some gentle style and beauty post-baby?

My first job tomorrow will be to get out a few items for a capsule wardrobe even if it's mostly leggings and breastfeeding friendly tops right now (i.e. Not that exciting!!)

If you're not keen on the belly bandit itself, they do a sort of Lycra thing that goes underneath it that is very soft but might still make you feel a bit supported?

Google 'Breast Vest'. Great for turning all your normal tops into breastfeeding tops. And keeps your tummy covered.

The breastvest is a great idea! Do you not find it a bit bulky under other clothes tho? I had a vest with #1 but I got fed up with how hot and bulky it was...

They are made of a very lightweight material so not bulky at all. Very easy to wear under clothes. Obviously you have an extra layer but it only covers your tummy as it sits below your bra so not as warm as a normal vest. I had a summer baby and a winter baby and wore them for both.

Thanks - will definitely have a look then!
