I have no idea about fashion. I wear jeans and long sleeved tee shirts (boring I know)

I'm looking for something to wear to a weddding, but everything I've found so far is either maternity, too short, sold out in my size or over budget so I'm not having much luck. It's a wedding in a field so I'm looking for something along these lines.

Google ASOS floral dresses... they have a huge range and start very cheaply?

TomaytoTomahto · 24/04/2017 14:46

Not a fan of the print on the first one, don't like the colour on the second one, and the third one might look a bit maid-of-honour-y. I'm assuming you're looking for something floral? I'm not sure about your budget but I'm assuming too that you're not looking for something pricey, so perhaps something like www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10701_10001_54510+204018000_-1 ?

I think you want a floaty maxi dress. Boden have lots of lovely ones.

Joinourclub · 24/04/2017 14:54

I saw this in store and it caught my eye, total but not 'floaty' so not bridesmaidy www.marksandspencer.com/cotton-rich-floral-print-slip-dress/p/p22500385?image=SD_01_T42_2184U_J4_X_EC_90&color=GREENMIX&prevPage=plp

Thanks for the suggestions. I see what you mean about looking too MOH. I will check out Boden. I looked on ASOS, but most of the dresses I liked were above the knee.

The Debenhams dress is nice and around the budget I have in mind.

The M&S dress is lovely.

I'm at work, but will keep checking...

Google the company Needle and Thread. They do dresses similar to your photos.

Semaphorically · 24/04/2017 14:59

Needle and Thread do a lot of that type of dress. Like this one.

Cross post with Pringle Grin

What kind of colours do you like? [[http://m.asos.com/asos/asos-salon-floral-embroidered-backless-pinny-midi-prom-dress/prd/7366591
This]] is pretty but more vibrant than your pics.

Thanks. They look lovely. I may have to expand my budget. I've got 3 weddings this summer, so I'll get good use out of it.

Thanks for all your help and inspiration. The Needle and Thread dresses are gorgeous. I ended up buying a maxi dress from Silk Fred. Smile
