Where do people with a small chest go for a bra fitting?

As summer approaches and clothes are less forgiving my manky bras need to be replaced with ones that fit!!

I'm pretty flat chested (36aa or 34b) so normally wear gel bras but always struggle to get a good fit. I loathe bra shopping, so would love to go somewhere that says 'this is your size, here are a bunch of well fitting bras'.

Thanks!

I'm a size 12 too by the way.

I still struggle with the new bra method.
Measured at 32D (was wearing 36A or 34B for years). I brought new bras that felt good in the shop changing rooms but wearing them all day they're leaving full on marks on my under chest, and even give me chest pain.

I'm a size 12 (10.10lb) tall so 34 seems better, but D is then gaping, C cup is too small. I just cannot find a bra that fits😫

Currently resorted to crop tops that I used to wear when 16 and had no boobs

Kourtney have you tried half-cups? I have the same in-between size issue, and they work well.

I am about your size OP and I never wear a bra. They just don't work for flat chests in my experience. I wear nothing or a sort of vest thing.

user1491572121. must admit that's what I do most of the time! But with summer coming up, I got 6 bralettes from Peacocks in size 10-12, and if I don't get to use them, at least they were cheap. Generally I don't enjoy wearing a bra anymore. In the 1990's I wore a Wonderbra, but took the pillows out, it was fantastic to have a bit of cleavage! Now I will mainly wear a bra if I go out, and I tend to buy tops that I can wear without bras, polo shirts in dark colours are my favourite, and I have been lucky to find a few tops with a double layer of fabric on the bust. I don't like visible bra straps on the back/shoulder!

The mumsnet bra measuring guide has me as 30D, but a 30 band really digs in and is uncomfortable and the D cup seems a little gapey. I am happier in a 32B or 32C. I wear a clothes size 8 on top but am quite broad shouldered. I must go to Bravissimo! I wish I could go braless, just hate the feel and look of it on me.

@KatharinaRosalie I haven't no, don't think I've ever see a half cup. Where would I find them?

Hate bra shopping

Welltidy, which bra is it that you like?
I also have shallow breasts and need new bras!

WellTidy · 26/04/2017 08:49

Ilona I linked to it in a separate post on Monday at 11:25. I really like it, I've bought it in light grey and coral red as well within the last few weeks. I also like the high leg pants that go with it.

If you are able, go to a branch of John Lewis, Debenhams or Bravamissio and try on lots of different makes, moving up or down sizes from your 32DD starting point to get the best fit.

I did this a few years ago and I can now pretty confidently buy Freya 28d bras from ebay shops and know they'll fit. Although other makes of 28d won't necessarily.

And the difference to your shape with the correct fitting bra is truly amazing!
