If i like them i should wear them, right? Yellow trainers (pic)

I dress like a prim middle aged woman. I bought these a year ago but don't wear them.

I'm 40 and overweight so i don't do casual well. I'm at a bit of a loss style wise right now.

So..... Am i overthinking these trainers?! Or will i look silly.

They have been very comfortable with my pyjamas while doing the housework!

I will wear them out this afternoon.

youvegottobekidding i know the can't be bothered feeling. I'm hoping if i take the right actions the feeling less shit follows.

Difficult not to feel cheerful with bright yellow feet to be honest.

I have some lime green sandals that I got last summer - and I did wear them (although I haven't model feet but there you go, more troll like!) & plan to wear them again this year - if we get the weather that is!!!

I wish I could get that 'can't be bothered' voice to shut up once & for all, but sometimes when I look in the mirror, especially when doing make up, I feel like i'm trying to polish a turd....😩

Wear them! I love my yellow converse (as does my cat, so they're covered in hair)!

Here's my yellow sandals waiting for an opportunity to be worn when it's less nippy. And my cat, who doesn't care one way or the other.

The only yellow in my wardrobe. Looking forward to wearing them this summer. I don't have a cat though.

I hope you've worn them and enjoyed the experience. A couple of years ago I broke my little toe and havent really worn heels since then but have embraced wearing trainers and flat shoes of all styles and colours & it has empowered me so much more than heels ever did. i feel more confident knowing that I can walke anywhere eithout my feet hurting, dance all night etc etc. Hope you fall in love with them. They are fab.

I agree dream. Before DD I was a heel queen and never wore flats but now I have loads of trainers - love them! OP, I have Adidas Stan Smiths in red suede and they're so comfy.

Yellow is definitely an 'in' colour this year. They're fab shoes. Wear them and enjoy.

in precious years the most daring coloured trainer I owned was gasp navy.
