Home dye.. Oops

Today I only had time for a cut, instead chose a box dye, showed my regular hairdresser (whom I trust) and they agreed it looks a close match..

..It's not. My hair roots were supposed to be lightish brown, but turned a red/ginger hue. Luckily I had some dye left so quickly did the rest..

I've basically undone 2-3 years of salon work in an hour. It's not an awful end colour but it's red. I used to be red, then stripped it all out. I have curly hair and that destroyed the curl. Have been growing the damaged section out.. Now back to square one

Also don't think I can straighten it as is. The colour is possibly patchy.. With curly hair you can get away with this, or at least it's more forgiving

Whoops.

Oh well. Enjoy being a red head again I say! Grin

Red is the colour that fades the quickest (I have loved it when I've gone red but it's a blighter to upkeep)

Fairy Liquid or Head&Shoulders and tons of intensive conditioner. Over and over.
Should help to shift it.

Ok I've not long recovered the MOTHEROFALLFUCKUPS.
go back to your hairdressers with your head hanging or embrace being a red head! I know what I would of rather!
