What would you do with a gaping top?

I have a really nice dress which has a wrapover v neckline. Unfortunately it can 'gape' quite badly when I move and I want to be able to secure it. It's quite dressy so not something I can wear a vest top with and I think if I put a hook and eye on it, the fabric will pull.

Any ideas?

Can you still buy "tit tape"? I used some to secure a gaping top once. Just literally taped the material to my skin.

Lacy camisole or silk vest.

Or could a dressmaker sew it where it crosses?
