I saw them on one of those 9XX channels on sky the other day when I dosed off on the remote. I woke up and first thing I said to DH was "WTF has she got on her feet"

The black ones of those boots are actually quite nice. I couldn't walk in them and ones feet will probably be awfully sweaty and smelly etc but i like them.

I think some designer has been looking at Mary Quant stuff from the late Sixties. She did some translucent (not clear) zip up the back shortie boots. I was living in Canada at the time, my mum sent me a pair as I was working at The Bay (department store chain) and she thought my boss would be interested. The whole store were interested!!

I wore them in the snow (with socks!) and the zips rusted over. Fun and very avant garde at the time though!

Oh! bloody hell, they just scream sweaty feet! I have never seen anything quite like it, or quite so impractical. Surely after about ten minutes those beauties are going to start getting hot and steamy - quite literally!
