What would be a good night cream for me? Have tried Creme de la mere, which seemed a bit rich for it, Elemis marine cream doesn't seem to do much... I would prefer something mid-range, unless MNers know about something so wonderful I should be more spendy....TIA

Do you use a serum? Perhaps one containing hyaluronic acid (to specifically combat dehydration) like Estee Lauder Night Repair? I have skin like yours and I use this and then Clarins Lotus oil on top before going to bed: skin is best it has ever been.

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 14/04/2017 22:22

I have been a bit lazy on the serum front, but that's useful, thanks Gah.

I've been using The Ordinary squalane for my dehydrated / dry skin. Amazing stuff.

Thecontentedcat · 14/04/2017 22:25

La Roche posay hydraphase, wonderful stuff.

Sciurus83 · 14/04/2017 23:43

Factheory relaxing night cream is brilliant, really moisturising but not heavy £11 www.facetheory.com/products/relaxing-night-cream-m10

Oooo today I've ordered the Facetheory night cream and The Ordinary squalene! Cannot wait to try them both Grin

I love the night cream Dont my absolute favourite. I've not tried the squalene yet but would be interested to hear what you think 😊

winchesterfan · 22/04/2017 15:19

I've started using the Nip & Fab dragons blood range recently and it's made a big difference to the dryness of my skin.
Ive been using the cleansing pad, serum, a shot of the oil then my regular moisturiser twice a day and my dry patches have almost gone!

Dontsayyouloveme · 28/04/2017 19:21

Shop - so I'm getting pilling when I put facetheory night cream on.. that's with no other product on underneath, only after using miceller water cleanser! Do you know why it might be happening?

So because of the above I'm favouring The Ordinary stuff at the moment. The squalene goes on really really nicely and sits well under spf and make up! !not noticed any visible difference yet but I still love it because of all the good things in it and the price! 7' tempted with the caffeine serum for under eyebags and the hyaluronic acid! X

Vichy Aqualia

Dont I hate pilling! It's one of the reasons I love that nightcream as it never pills, I nearly always use something under it too. It does seem a bit thick when I put it on as in hard to rub in but disappears quickly.
