Fitflops sizes

Hi there dears , I want to buy fitflops for the summers, I'm not sure about sizes if they come on small side or a bit bigger sizes , I'm a size UK 5 , have normal feet, not slim nor wide , I don't want to waste my money on expensive shoes which don't fit me , so plz guide if I should buy a size small or larger ? Thankssssss

Also I wear shoes in size UK5.5 but sandals in UK 5

It's worth going into a shop that sells them (Treds, Schuh) and trying on a few pairs to see the sizes. I always buy them online because it's much cheaper. The fitflop site does free returns and exchanges. I love Fitflops and own upwards of 20 pairs- sandals, shoes, boots- I have the full range. They are fantastic for my bad back and have cured my plantar fasciitis

I'm 4.5/5 and the 5 fit like a dream.

I'm 6.5 and just ordered 6.5 and 7, had to return the 7 as the 6.5 were perfect. They weren't sandals though but slip ons instead.

Can anyone tell me how wide they are? I have very slim feet...lots of shoes are too wide.
