Best primer and foundation tips please

Your favourite primer and foundation and please? I have horrible first trimester acne and looking for good coverage. My usual power mineral foundation is not sitting well and is breaking up over my forehead. Thanks ladies.

I'm afraid I can't help you as I have dry skin, but hopefully this will bump it for you.

Laura Mercier's primer is great; you can get samples if you have a counter near to you.

I have oily skin so tend to be a bit picky about foundations as lots can turn oily within a minute or two. Giorgio Armani's Luminous Silk foundation is my favourite at the minute, dusted with Mac's prep and prime.

The only thing that soothed my skin during pregnancy was drinking endless water; if I drank tea, coffee or fruit juice it made my skin dreadful.
