Tulle skirt still in vogue?!

Hi, I am dreaming about a midi-long tulle skirt with a Bardot style top for a family function coming up and I'm wondering whether they are a bit last-year?! I'm 39. Your thoughts?

I don't know but watching with interest as I've just ordered one so I'm hoping they are! I love that look - haven't decided on a top yet but hoping it'll look good with my biker jacket (and not emphasise my massive generous arse!)

I saw a mid-length one in a shop window yesterday, so it should be very this year. Even I - not a tulle person - thought it looked lovely. I'm in france, though, if that makes any difference.

I'm not sure if they're still in fashion (although Elsie's attic still do them) but what I do know is that I've hankered after one ever since I had a crush on Margot Fonteyn more than 50 years ago. Sadly I dillied and dallied, dallied and dillied and now even I have to accept that, even if I didn't look an absolute tit, I would not look like this.

So don't end up like me, op. Go out and follow your dream. Do it today.

Sometimes vintage shops are good for tulle but I'd rather have new (because of the smell)
