Help me MN!

I've never really done make up - bit of light foundation, lipstick and mascara really but now, at 51 I really need some help.

My skin looks old and dead, eyes are disappearing and eyebrows seem too pale.

How do I start and what do I need? I'd like to look natural and nicely turned out but not too overdone.

I've always been into clothes and hair but make up has kind of passed me by!

You should go to a makeup counter in a department store. They can give you a makeover as well as suggest products for you to buy. My friend is the same age as you and wears beautiful Lancôme makeup, it's very natural looking.

Good luck.

Get thee to Boots Elizabeth Arden make up counter.
Yes its expensive at £26, but with foundation you get what you pay for.
Plus EA is very light weight on the skin. It looks natural. Hides blemishes ect, and lasts all day.
Things like mascara lip gloss eye shadow and eye liner ect. Pound land is just as good as Este Lauder.
As long as you have the right foundation. Everything else falls into place.

Lisa Eldridge is amazing - take a look at her website . Hundreds of fantastic tutorials to learn from . When I discovered the site I was addicted to it for months .
