Ok, so I'm kind of stuck with it as I've already bought it and the returns limit on the receipt has been and gone, but is it ok to wear this to a wedding?

I know it's black, but it's not too black, right? And that's an outdated rule anyway, yes?

Massive crisis of confidence setting in, it's my SILs wedding and it's in two weeks Confused

That dress is gorgeous and is perfectly fine for a wedding. I've seen loads of people in black for s wedding anyway.

It's beautiful! My sister in law worn a dress very similar this weekend to her brother in laws wedding. Don't worry, it's absolutely fine to wear this to a wedding x

I was expecting to say 'No,you can't' but that was before I clicked on the link. It's a gorgeous dress and I'm sure you'll get loads of compliments at the wedding.

Lovely dress. Do you have a jacket in mind?

Missmac84 · 10/04/2017 05:51

Beautiful dress, if at all worried just make sure the accessories are lighter coloured. You'll have compliments coming out your ears! xx

Thank you all so much, I feel so much better about it now! Grin

I've got a 'statement' necklace in the same colours as the skirt to break up the black at the top and was going to wear a light coloured pashmina too.

Phew, you guys are awesome!

I think with a lighter coloured wrap or cardigan that would be fine for a wedding. Gorgeous.

I hate buying new wedding outfits as get stressed that they'll be a guest in the same one! This happened to me once and I went to TK Maxx between the ceremony and reception to buy a new one Confused
