Cocoa powder in DIY dry shampoo

So, which cocoa powder should be used as part of DIY dry shampoo recipe?

Picked up Green and Blacks cocoa powder...will that do the trick? Includes 97% cocoa whereas Bournville is 100%...

I've never heard of cocoa powder in dry shampoo. I'm guessing it's for colour? If so whichever looks the best and I would suggest to sift it. Otherwise I have never clue sorry Confused

I've used 100% cocoa powder in a homemade dry shampoo (to make it less glaring white). Considering that I mix it with cornstarch, I don't think using 97% will make a difference unless the rest is something sticky like sugar.

What frustrate said. It's just to take the white off, according to how dark your hair is.

What If it rains? Won't you have a chocolate river running down your face? Or is it dual purpose? Face tanner/dry shampoo 2 in 1?

Unfortunately my husky would lick me to death if I did this!!

Eminybob · 09/04/2017 17:40

I bet you'll smell delicious!

TeeK · 09/04/2017 19:15

Being a choco lover, I can't complain about the smell...

Yes, I suppose the concern is having a sticky mess consider the 97 vs 100% cocoa....

Have used Bournville 100% cocoa in the past and it worked perfectly.

What is the 3%? If it's cornstarch, no problem, obviously.

TeeK · 09/04/2017 20:54

G&B cocoa Ingredients: Organic Cocoa Powder†, Acidity Regulator (Potassium Carbonate).
