Boxy thigh length lightweight smart jacket

Hi all. I know I'm describing this really badly but I'm looking for a lightweight boxy jacket to pair with smart black trousers for work. Thigh length type of thing. Needs to be summer ish so ideally cropped sleeves and a lightweight fabric.
I've seen a few for £££ but can't seem to find many in other shops.

I'm sorry I'm not being more descriptive but does anyone know what I mean ?!
Also, should I steer clear? Are they frumpsville if you're short and curvy?

Hmm I can't really picture this - usually boxy jackets with cropped sleeves hit at the hip, blazers tend to be thigh length. I think if short and curvy (as I am too!) you'd be better with either a blazer/jacket with a waist or a cropped jacket?

I don't know what size you are but I have a few of these Evans jackets that start at size 14 and wear them constantly!

Ceeveebee - I'm trying to cover up my stomach. I have boobs and a belly and I hate my upper half, frankly ! Cropped jackets and blazers expose exactly the wrong parts of me.

Ollivander - thanks for the suggestion! I have a very similar black suit jacket to that one already. Looking for something longer.

I'd love to know what to search for though. Do these coats have a special name ? I remember when car coats came in and it was so hard to find them online until I'd figured out that they were called car coats, for example

Also OP you're a bad bad person. On my visit to Dorothy Perkins I spotted a kimono jacket similar to one I have and wear a lot but in a different colour and print
I was FORCED easily persuaded to buy it

Ah I see what you mean now, I thougt you meant like a suit jacket type to wear indoors, not an outdoor coat
