Me: 50s size 12, 5'7". Blondish bob, glasses. Flat chested.
Wedding: Turkey, July.

What can I wear that isn't too frumpy yet comfortable and not too exposing? In 40c? Hate heels.

What colours do you like? What sort of style to you like? What bits do you like to show or hide?

margaritasbythesea · 08/04/2017 21:13

this could be cute with pointed flats

MrsLettuce · 08/04/2017 21:34

What's your budget? How formal will the wedding be?

burnishedsilver · 08/04/2017 22:26

Maxi dresses tend to look good with flats. Unfortunately this is polyester but nearly everything seems to be polyester these days.

Like the shape of the phase 8 dress. That's very me but would like a brighter colour.
No to maxis. My legs are my only feature!

I think they did a very similar scarlet last year. Ebay? Sale section.

margaritasbythesea · 09/04/2017 07:34

here is the red - on sale!

If you want legs, maybe a chiffon swing dress would work. Like this:

Covers your shoulders too, so good for Turkey.

Even if you hate the colour, there are lots of similar options around.
