What cheap products have you bought and surprisingly loved?

Trying to cut down as I have a holiday coming up and toiletries/make up seem to be quite a big spend for me.

Intrigued to know what inexpensive hair & beauty buys you have purchased and fallen in love with, continue to use and swear by.

I really like Sleek blusters. Very cheap and nicely packaged for the price.

Maxfactor false lash effect mascara is miles better than Chanel one .
In fact I've tried most brands cheap and expensive and it suits me the best.

Superdrug B moisturiser ..as good as any other I've tried .

Superdrug CoLab dry shampoo ,the one with no white powder is fab.

W7 make up! The mascaras aren't great, but their eyeshadow palettes are fantastic and stay put.

Primark face creams are really good too.

Maybelline Dream satin liquid foundation. I have: Chanel Les Beige, Chanel Perfection Lumiere, various Clinique ones and an Armani Lasting Silk and the Maybelline is the only one I constantly repurchase.

Olay acid toner- much prefer this to Nip and Fab and all the others.

Astral for my neck, used it for about 40 yrs.

It's been a long day....

I liked the Nip n Fab Glycolic night pads - cheap and my skin can take them a few times a day if I need to freshen up (and I'm not wearing makeup)

Someone recommended them here.

hey Bucharest /VintagePerfumista ..that was so long ago I can't remember the foundation? Still love most of clarion's stuff. I am loving Chanel CC cream atm although a bit spendy.

Another vote for W7 products. Agree the mascara is not good but the foundation and bronzer are lovely.

Not hair or makeup but 4711 cologne just goes hand in hand with holidays and warm evenings outside (repels the mozzies too ). It smells very similar to my every day perfume (Tom Ford Neroli Portofino) which I never take away with me in case it gets lost / smashed in transit.

Perfumes are welcome too mrssmith79! I'm all for a cheap dupe and I think I've seen 4711 cologne in boots, greeny bottle, gold old-fashioned writing?

mrssmith- Perfume Parlour do a Neroli Portofino dupe at around £3 for the smallest size.

Cakes- I have 2 versions of the toner- one is called anti-age and one anti-wrinkle confusingly- though ingredients are identical in both. It costs about £4. Someone on another thread a month or so back couldn't find it anywhere- it may have been repackaged/renamed to stop the confusion!

Also using the Ordinary serums and gubbins at the moment, but only been using them for about a fortnight, so can't really say yet, but the Superdrug Pure Serum (costing a whole £2.99) is fabulous and leaves my skin wonderfully smooth.

ggirl- I think it was called Instant Smooth or something and was in a pot rather than a bottle.

Íf it's perfume dupes you want, look no further than Perfume Parlour.

A cheap as chips perfume I love is Yardley Jade. Smells almost identical (to me) to Annick Goutal Eau du Sud. Some say it's like Chanel Cristalle, but I think it's more like the EdS, whatever, it's lush.

Bourjois city radiance foundation which has replaced my usual Clinique one.

Also totally agree with perfume parlour. I am wearing a dupe of Valentino Donna today. The perfumes smell amazing and lady for ages.

Yardley White Diamonds also smells just like Chloe to this nose. SO cheap you can just spray it on with abandon.

Rimmel eyeshadow crayons are also really great, and stay put all day.

Rimmel 25 hour thingy foundation - often on 2 for £10 or 3 for 2. I was a Mac Studio Fix devotee until I discovered this.

Aveeno or rose hip oil to moisturise face.

The rimmel lip crayons are brilliant, they stay on all day without needing to be reapplied, even through eating & drinking etc. I always wear one to weddings, races etc.

Superdrug B eye cream is pretty ace as well.

I'm using some things from Beauty pie at the moment. Very cheap, although you do have to factor in the subscription/postage etc. The mascara seems really good, and I love the foundation. Concealer is good too. I don't love the lipstick, but that may well be because it is so hard to choose lipstick online, the colours vary so much.

I second the ordinary skincare, their retinol has completely sorted my cystic acne and their rosehip face oil is lush

99p shop eyeliner is great. I was pleasantly surprised when I needed an emergency one.
And I'm in love with Lacuna day and night cream from Aldis.
Pradi Candii from the perfume parlour is my favourite scent right now.
