Award ceremony - does anyone fancy an outfit challenge?

I have an industry award ceremony to go to. I have been shortlisted for an award so want to look my best - just in case!

I am going dress blind. The dress code is formal/black tie but a lot of women seem to be in knee length cocktail style dresses.

I am 5'4 size 10 but have disproportionately fat arms. I will do sleeveless but I'm more comfortable with.

I don't like flouncy, or embellishments, or lace. I don't like too short or exposing too much flesh but I'm ok with body con styles, especially if the have some ruching. I prefer plain, understated colours (although I like red) but I want to look professional and glam at the same time. And not like my Mum.

I have a jumpsuit I was considering wearing which I feel I look great in but I'm not sure it's smart enough.

Any suggestions appreciated!
