So I have a Christening and a Wedding coming up. Not dressed up all posh since well before my DS was born (6 months old!) and have no idea what to dress my new found lumps and bumps in. Size 12/14, 5'8", big arse, thighs, calves, boobs. Not much of a waistline left either... my wardrobe is heckling me with its size 10 slinky dresses

How about a jumpsuit?
Like this from Phase Eight

The legs on that first jumpsuit are quite narrow, it wouldn't hang very well on my chunky calves.

The twitchill dress from Hobbs is quite forgiving, fairly long, bias cut, linen with a sort of waist wrap thing that you can tie where you want to.

Some of the colours/pattern combinations are slightly dodgy but there are usually a couple most seasons.

Similar body shape to me, but I'm a bit shorter!

This jumpsuit looks lovely:

bike, I agree. Narrow legs wouldn't suit me at all! I do really love the grey floral and grey wrap - think a jumpsuit is definitely the right choice. Thanks ladies Grin

barchester the dress is a lovely style but I think it would maybe draw attention to my footballers calves!
