You were all helpful last year with an outfit for my friends wedding so have come for more advice for another wedding.

Both dresses on eBay. I love the short coral one but I'm worried it's too short.

I have blond hair if that makes s difference to the dress

The coral one, don't like the red one at all. Surely it's shorter than the coral one ?

lazytuesday · 06/04/2017 12:35

I think the coral one! Its very pretty and bright. The other one is lovely too but it looks a bit more like it could be used as a bridesmaids dress in which case theres a chance it might clash or look too similar to the bridesmaids dresses.

ChipIn · 06/04/2017 12:35

I'd say the coral one was too short but it's hard to say without seeing it on. The other one is lovely and a bit more modest.

lazytuesday · 06/04/2017 12:36

cocolepew think the red one IS the coral one! I saw it as the coral one anyway! the other one is pastel pink and cream

ChipIn · 06/04/2017 12:36

Coco I'm confused. I thought the first, shorter one is the coral one?

Cocolepew · 06/04/2017 12:38

Oh god sorry! It looks bright red on my phone ConfusedBlush

missjoanie · 06/04/2017 12:39

The second one is much nicer Smile

Bluntness100 · 06/04/2017 12:42

Gosh, both extremes here. The pale one is quite old fashioned and mumsy and the bright one I think a bit much for a wedding,,,too short and bright..

Thegiantofillinois · 06/04/2017 12:43

I'm not really sure the style of the coral one really suits anyone. Other one is more elegant.

Bleurghghghgh · 06/04/2017 12:50

I really don't like the first one - it looks very cheaply made and very short - the shape is strange. Not a huge fan of the second one either and can't work out what's going on with the middle - it looks like a two piece?

kel1493 · 06/04/2017 12:52

I'm not keen on either personally, but out of the 2 I'd say the 2nd one is nicer

BounceBounceSplishSplash · 06/04/2017 12:55

The second, paler one, is nicer than the first. Regardless of your age and figure the darker one looks much too short for a wedding and would look a bit tacky.

I think you could get better than either dress though

RicketyCricket · 06/04/2017 12:56

First one is godawful and the second is boring.

Have you anything that falls in the middle?

Bubbinsmakesthree · 06/04/2017 12:56

The first one looks very short, almost like a playsuit? Definitely too short! Second one could look a bit bridesmaidy potentially. I think the style is one of those faux crop tops isn't it?

Racheyg · 06/04/2017 12:57

I'm having a style crisis as you can tell. Grin

I have no idea what suits me anymore. I want something that will flatter my mum tum

BusterGonad · 06/04/2017 12:58

The first one looks a bit cheap (sorry) and I love the second one.

BusterGonad · 06/04/2017 13:00

The second one looks more structured so it will hopefully hold your tummy in

NewPantsforaNewYear · 06/04/2017 13:07

I think you could find something nicer than either of those.

Orangebird69 · 06/04/2017 13:13

The coral one is truly horrid. The other one is ok ish. I'd look agsin if I were you.

The first one is bad. And looks v short.

The second one...eh. I don't know. Can you do a pic with it on (and chop off your head Grin)

DavetheCat2001 · 06/04/2017 19:18

Not overly keen on either, but have to say the second one is preferable.

Do you have a budget in mind OP? Ted Baker have some nice dresses at the moment, but they are a bit ££.

Racheyg · 06/04/2017 19:43

dave I don't fancy spending any more than £100.00 and would prefer it goes with silver shoes.

The reason I'm not wanting to spend too much is cause I'm losing weight and would be a shame to buy a 12 when I could be a 10 in the summer

Racheyg · 06/04/2017 20:23
