Anyone got this antibob?

I think it would work well with my hair. Has anyone got one? What do you think of it?

However, I'm nowhere near London, would other salons know how to do it?

Do you have a picture

BigApple11 · 05/04/2017 18:52

What is it?

ViolentDelights · 05/04/2017 18:54

Sorry, this article talks about it www.glamourmagazine.co.uk/gallery/anti-bob-haircut-hershesons

Only if you want to look like Rick Parfitt.

JamesDelaneysHat · 05/04/2017 19:32

Rick Parfitt!! Grin

RicketyCricket · 05/04/2017 19:33

That's hideous. Like a purdey cut and a mullet had a baby.

Hecticlifeanddrowning8 · 05/04/2017 19:34

I can't unsee Rick Parfitt either😀

Deadsouls · 05/04/2017 19:34

Hmmmm not sure

PigletWasPoohsFriend · 05/04/2017 19:36

Well now all I see is Rick Parfitt Grin

ViolentDelights · 05/04/2017 19:36

Welk now all I can see is Rick Parfitt too! Back to the drawing board.

Any ideas for a style that isn't a boring bob for straight, fine hair?

Whatatododo · 05/04/2017 19:40

If you're young and cool you might get away with it. It would be 70s mullet on me.

Squeegle · 05/04/2017 19:42

I think I have it but by mistake as I haven't had my hair cut for a while. It doesn't look great really

ThomasRichard · 05/04/2017 19:43

Chic blow?

NevermetaGilesIlike · 05/04/2017 21:39

Well I think it looks cool- unlike that crusty air hostess style 'chic blow' offering.

Beketaten · 06/04/2017 01:09

How about a 'bad bob'? See www.salihughesbeauty.com/features/good-bob-bad-bob/

EmmaWoodlouse · 06/04/2017 10:35

I like that style on me but my hair's curlier than the model's. I'm not sure about it on straighter hair.

BumbumMcTumtum · 06/04/2017 10:36

Sorry, but mullet comes to mind.

BumWad · 06/04/2017 11:07

Awful

SleepFreeZone · 06/04/2017 11:09

Nope. Keep looking.

PetallyTyrants · 06/04/2017 11:17

Oh that article by Sali Hughes about her bad bob is unintentionally hilarious - so pretentious. Can't believe it would cost £300 to look like this

BeeFarseer · 06/04/2017 11:54

My hair looked like that when I was growing it out after chemo.

MrsLogicFromViz · 06/04/2017 12:08

I am prepared to pay up to £500 for a talented gardener to hack my hair off with a pair of shears. I could then maintain the look by combing it through with a grass rake Smile

HappyAxolotl · 06/04/2017 12:23

What about a reverse bob? Chin-length at the front and going shorter towards the back with a very short clipped section underneath where the short back is?

It looks full at the front but takes a lot of the bulk out of the hair at the back so it's easy to dry and shows off your neck and shoulders nicely, if you like that.

IrianOfW · 06/04/2017 12:24

That picture shows a style I am sure used to be called 'the shag' ie shaggy and a bit shapeless?

BusterGonad · 06/04/2017 13:20

I generally think Alexa Chung has a nice looking bob/shag/whatever cut! Grin
