Loafers - yay or nay?

Do you like loafers? As in the traditional leather ones?

God no. They are fugly.

I like them.

I like them too, not quite as much as brogues but they're a good second.

Yep. I love brogues but they don't suit me. Loafers do a very similar job but suit me more.

Love loafers and brogues

Loafers are amazing. I pretty much always wear them. I have many pairs in a variety of colours. Work, casual, smart - you name it there's a loafer for every occasion!

I wish I loved loafers, as they are the ultimate comfy work shoe, but they are just too hideous. Sorry. I am in the minority though.

I have some velvet leopard print ones. I love them.

I love the look of them on other people, but find them too cold and uncomfortable myself. I find they rub on the back of my heel (along with brogues, and most other styles of shoes worn without socks).

I have a loafer compulsion and I am also partial to a boat shoe. I look mannish in brogues.
