Palmaria Sandals - Sizing Q

Anyone know what the sizing is like on these? Am normally a 5/38 but am sure I read somewhere to size down in these as the leather strap at back stretches. However, don't want my foot to be hanging off the edge if I order a size 4.

Any MN-ers who have a pair that can advise? Thank you

I'm a 5.5/6 and have them in a 39 - they have definitely stretched, but not so much that I've had any problems keeping them on my feet.

They are brilliant - I barely wore anything else last summer (and have bought another pair for this summer).

Thanks one - does the back strap slip down on you or does it stay in place OK?
