Leather handbag, where to buy?

Hi all

Looking for some expertise please.

It's my 40th birthday soon and DH wants to treat me to a leather handbag. I've looked at M&S, Debenhams, JL & HoF but nothing stands out.

Where can I get a large, cross-body, soft leather handbag? Any thoughts? I don't really like boxy, structured satchel bags.
Do you know any good, reputable websites I could search?

I have a large black leather esprit bag that has shoulder handles and cross body strap. I brought it in our local department store (now a beales) in Dec. They had loads of choice in leather bags from lots of different brands. There were some nice radley & nica ones that I almost went for but I didn't want it to look to officey (I actually use it as a changing bag as hate the the twee designs on them!)
Trying to find it online but can't seem to get sorry! Hope you find one!

I love Brampton London. Softest leather and they look better with wear. They have a website but I've saw them a couple of times in TK Maxx.

Not sure what your Budget is but Fat Face do some nice leather bags that are not too expensive.

Have you tried John Lewis, they have some reasonable up to expensive ones.

What sort of budget?

Have you got a TK Maxx nearby? They have some good finds sometimes, if you can deal with it being last season! I jsut picked up a tan cross body bag RRP £95 for £25.
