Just wondered if there are any hairdressers out there that can answer this for me.
I have brown hair but lots of grey so home colour my hair to get rid of the grey. When the roots grow through I normally just do the roots for the first 20 mins then put colour on the rest for the final 10 mins.
Today I wasn't concentrating so did the roots then immediately did the ends - wasn't going to waste the colour so just left it all for the 30 mins. It looks fine but it got me thinking why it should be done roots then rest. It would be much easier next time to just do the whole lot in one go 😉
