Where can I find inexpensive long line vests?

A few years ago Primark did some longer vests in pretty much every colour. They were £1.80 and had adjustable bra type straps and were long enough to pull down over the waistband of your jeans etc and cover half your bum. I lived on them while I was pregnant. Now they've redesigned them, and they are SHORT!!
I have looked everywhere really. What I'm after is fairly cheap, longer vests, preferably with adjustable straps, in basic colours such as black, grey, white etc. If the straps aren't adjustable they really need to be the thin spaghetti sort so I can wear under dresses and tops.
Can anyone help? Thanks in advance!

New Look have some. They don't have adjustable straps but are lovely and long. Quite thin though, but good for layering. Nice range of colours too.

I have tried the h&m basics scrappy vests, at 3.99 I was really hopeful, but they are short. Really short!

Afreshstartplease · 01/04/2017 11:50

H&m used to do longline ones specifically called long line on the website I'm not sure if they still do

ShootFruit · 01/04/2017 11:50

Peacocks

Primark still do long ones - advertised in store as a dress!! Saw them yesterday!!

SoupDragon · 01/04/2017 11:52

I agree - you need to look for the "cami dresses" in Primark.

Long gone are the days when I could wear them as a dress but they are great as a long vest top!

HermiioneSnape02 · 01/04/2017 12:17

H&M. I bought 3 last week.

rollonthesummer · 01/04/2017 15:26

H+M

sleeplessbunny · 01/04/2017 15:28

I've found M&s vests to be very long

NapQueen · 01/04/2017 15:30

H&m deffo do long ones. Mine go to the top of my thighs. 100% butt coverage.

clumsyduck · 01/04/2017 15:33

Oh I was going to say primark but you say they've stopped doing them ? I'm tall and fairly sizeable in the boob department so normal ones end up like blumming crop tops

Sorry I'm no use op but watching the suggestions with interest

LexieSinclair · 01/04/2017 15:34

I second Matalan

ChishandFips33 · 01/04/2017 15:36

Another for Matalan here - they do two lengths for £3 & £4

LexieLulu · 01/04/2017 15:37

Hema sell extra Long ones, but not the thin strapped ones. www.hemashop.com/gb/shop/women/clothing/t-shirts-and-tops/womens-singlet-organic-cotton-(36386010)?color=grey%20melange

I know which primark ones you mean, they were great. The cami dresses are much longer.

TheFirstMrsDV · 01/04/2017 15:50

I have the H&M ones
Sainburys are doing them now too if you prefer the more traditional vest shape.

Diamonddealeroncemore · 01/04/2017 15:51

I buy Next or Primark cami dresses as well then ruch them up over the hips. They are great under a thin or short top.

Cheerybigbottom · 01/04/2017 15:55

Primark do long and short ones, are you sure you haven't just seen the short? Matalan do long vests for about £4, spaghetti strap vest or horrid thick straps.

Unicorn81 · 01/04/2017 16:09

If you are size 14 and up these are fab and great material. They come down past my bum and are dead comfy. The thicker strap ones are a fair bit shorter than these.

I was going to suggest the Primark cami dresses as well.

Came on to say Matalan but I've been beaten to it!
