Impossible to get into one piece swimming costume.

Has anyone else had this problem ?

This is the 2nd time I have purchased a one piece with runched stitching at the side. The first one fitted perfectly once on but was a nightmare to actually get up and over my legs to get it there.
Years later just purchased a lovely one but this one I can't even get up to my knees! I wouldn't say I had fat legs at all, they are in keeping with my general clothes size. I'd have to lose a few stone to get it on and then it wouldn't fit my middle and I'd be emaciated
Surely this can't be a design fault or theyd stop making them. I'm starting to worry I'm a really weird shape and I haven't noticed.

What brand is it? I remember that a swimsuit I tried with tummy control panel/lining was incredibly difficult to get up despite it being my dress size. Could that be the problem?

Moontide , or something. Got it from tk maxx. The first one came from primark where I've bought most of my swimwear, in the same size, which have always fit. They don't have tummy control in them.
I swear I can't even get it past my calves. As soon as I put my feet in it I knew there was no way it was going anywhere.

I'm a very normal size 10-12, and I know exactly what you're talking about. Have had same prob with a couple of one-pieces in the past. You're not deformed!

My mum had a couple of costumes like this, and they do look lovely on. We just treat it as a team sport to get her into it! She pulls up the front and I give the back a good yank.
