Which outfit?

Long story short, haven't been on a date for a while and I'm freaking slightly. Do I go for:

Outfit 1: striped or pink cute t-shirt dress with converse

Or outfit 2: shorts with an oversized jumper or t-shirt and converse

Also, what jacket? And which option for whatever outfit?

Opinions from both guys and gals please!Flowers

Depends where you are going really.

Oh yes, I forgot to add that to the end! Just for lunch and a walk on the beach afterSmile

Presumably you live somewhere warm and sunny. The outfits found quite teenage, I'd go with the shorts with T and jumper for if it gets chilly,

BikeRunSki · 28/03/2017 18:45

Obviously from my use of the phrase "if it gets chilly" you can tell that I am 40 something and boring, so possibly not the best person to ask.

Pottedplants · 28/03/2017 18:46

I'm unsure what jacket you can wear with an oversized jumper and shorts.

I would probably go with the pink dress and maybe a denim jacket over it? But I'm in an entirely different climate to yours by the sound of it so don't know what the usual beach date wear is (unfortunately!).

Are you in the UK? Shorts or a tee shirt dress will be chilly.
Jeans, tee, sweater, jacket, Converse. I'd dress it up with sunglasses and a scarf.

Incidentally, who knew there was a Clothes and Shoes board?

greeeen · 28/03/2017 18:57

I'd prefer the shorts/tshirt/jumper look. I'm 30 and a woman, if that makes a difference.

Incidentally, who knew there was a Clothes and Shoes board?

I just spotted this now. There must be another one for beauty products then?

Pottedplants · 28/03/2017 19:01

Back and confused. S&B is still the forum on the index page but some of the same threads appear in both this forums.

user1490716633 · 28/03/2017 19:06

Yes I'm in the UK however nearly every day I've been out this week I've gotten sun burned so jeans might not be the best option for now, if it was to get colder I'd obviously swap the summer clothes for some warmer ones. I'm 19 nearly 20 but my options aren't too teenage-y are they? Ahh now I'm worriedBlush

I've just come across this board too! I typed 'clothes' into the filter search bit and found it

tiptoe Is it new??

TipToeTuesday · 28/03/2017 19:32

No idea gah, it came up on active.
I'm not sure how it will sit with S&B

BikeRunSki · 28/03/2017 20:41

No! Your outfits are not too teenagers for 19. Your OP made it sound like you hadn't been on a date fir years, so I was anticipating someone older.

user1490716633 · 29/03/2017 09:51

Ah, I see! I had a baby just turned 18 and I don't really get much of a life anymore to this is a pretty big day for me😂
