Help with a 30 something face?

Can anyone guide me through the baffling array of products and brands? I don't know where to start and don't want to be pressurised into spending a fortune in the shop by a pushy sales assistant.

I am aiming to look natural, but groomed.

I have pale skin with pink undertones, which is unfortunately quite sensitive. Up til now I have used touché eclat (or no 7 equivalent), Benefit That Gal primer and a bit of lipstick. I think I now need a bit more help. What sort of products should I be looking at?

Skin looks best with a tan for me. Hate wearing loads of make up and put off make up counters for that reason.
I haven't tried it but I'm thinking of buying some Laura Mercier make up - candle glow foundation, other stuff looks good?

Do you have a good skin care routine? Re make up: try a BB cream, gariner do an excellent one which will even out skin tone and give a bit of coverage too. If you're not used to full foundation you probably don't need it and will hate it too!
Make sure your brows are groomed (benefit brow bar does a great, quick painless wax) and you can fill them with a product for light brows - pencil or wax, whatever you're most comfortable with. No Idea which eyeliner would suit you but make sure you invest in a good mascara - I estee lauder double wear as it's bold without being OTT or clumpy. Blend your concealer into the inner corners of your eyes too and then apply a light shimmer eyeshadow into the inner corner and just under your eye brow. Bit of blusher. voila.
Ps: MAC do a great make up lesson where the price is redeemed against the cost of any products you buy - just don't let the talk you into buying too much!

Re skin care, I exfoliate a few times a week, wash in the shower, and use moisturiser. I can't use soap or cleansers as they dry my skin out too much.

Do you have light hair? I would suggest making sure your eyebrows are tinted to frame your face, if your eyelashes are light have them tinted aswell or weat mascara, i find a brownish or smudge eye liner gives the eye definition.

Light Bronzing/contouring
Blush
Lipliner plus lipstick

Dark blonde/mouse hair. Highlighted for years but now, finally, natural. I find I like it more than I expected to.

Eyeliner and contouring are maybe a bit more than I am aiming for? I just want to look healthy.

My eyebrows are fine (I think).

Skinwise, I will look into BB cream.
Have just had a look at Charlotte Tilbury's website. It seems to get a natural look you need a million products?

Don't exfoliate a few times a week! Once a week is enough, particularly if you have sensitive skin

I've found that blusher is the one thing that makes me look more groomed and put toghether, especially as I'm pale and benefit from a bit of colour on my cheeks
