Teen make up lessons in London

I'd like to give my teen DD a make up lesson as a birthday present.

There are lots of providers if you google, but how on earth do I know who is any good? The one I liked the look of cost £450, and that's way over my budget.

Can anyone help me pick my way through what's advertised? Any recommendations?

Bobbi Brown does teen make up lessons I am sure (she has a book of teen beauty too).

Head start for teens at these brilliant people.

As already suggested Bobbi Brown are good. The lessons are free so you could book the lesson and then give some vouchers to buy some of the products.

Mac is good. My teen went there - any branch but the one in Carnaby St is big and has little separate rooms. (She asked for a contouring lesson Hmm). I think that if you pay, the cost is deducted from any make up bought - sorry can't remember how much it cost.

Look at the illamasqua website.. They do different evening lessons based on what you want to focus on.

Facebar, near Brick Lane.
Independent so can try a range of products.

They do sell some stuff they use but not all of it so there is no hard sell. Think 60quid for 90min lesson.

Thank you so much - these are brilliant suggestions, just the sort of thing I was after.
