Dress for Holiday - Petite

I have got up to £70 to spend on a nice dress to wear on my holiday.

I am 5ft 2, apple shaped size 10. Any ideas?

Banana Republic has a nice petite section and some are in the sale

Or just buy the actual dress you really want then get a tailor to take it up for you.
Some dry cleaners do alternations for just a few quid.

Good petite ranges:

Boden
ASOS
TopShop

Mylittlebee with dresses I pretty much always buy a petite dress because the waist is always in the wrong place on a 'normal' dress and it just lies wrong and looks very unflattering, a tailor would have to completely reconstruct a dress to make it fit properly unless it was empire line. Trousers or coats can be taken up more successfully.

I see what you mean depending on styles. I'm lucky as both my mum and mil are dressmakers so easy to get them to nip & tuck things seeing as I'm a short arse too Smile
