Now the weathers getting better and it'll soon be time to put the winter boots away, I'm looking for some new trainers to wear with jeans. Looking for suggestions please on what to go for. I've had converse in the past, but don't find them very comfortable.

I wear Crime it's an Italian brand really comfortable and a bit different from the usual Nikes, Adidas etc you can get some good deals on EBay.

Vans? Or maybe Superga? I find both of those really comfy especially my Old Skool, which I love.

Or how about Adidas Superstar?

RebeccaCloud9 · 27/03/2017 17:07

I had some Nike free 3.0 which I loved but my toe poked through the mesh front after a little while.

Now I have some h and m plimsolls, and slip on sketchers which are like walking on air!

I really love my Nike Internationalist - always get lots of compliments

Love my Nike Air Theas and I have some colourful Pegasus which are super comfy. Also loving my Adidas Stan Smiths.

CountFosco · 27/03/2017 18:09

Also loving my Adidas Stan Smiths.

Me too, they are very comfortable and I'm enjoying wearing trendy trainers before my kids are too old to roll their eyes at me wearing them.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Off to google them all now Smile

If you were a child in the 70s you probably had a pair of these - £17.50 for a size 7 and above

Superga

Violetcharlotte · 27/03/2017 21:47

I've seen a few pairs of Superga I like. And reasonable price too. Are they comfortable?

I find Superga comfortable. They're the only trainers that I don't have to 'break in'. I have loads of pairs as they're always on sale too. My favourites are the fur lined ones as you can still wear them in winter.

Bought a pair of all white Nike tennis shoes over xmas but they're like little medieval miniature torture devices for my feet Confused Awful.

CashelGirl · 27/03/2017 21:59

I like New Balance. Good variety of colours (although mine are boring navy) and super comfy.

Stansmith01 · 27/03/2017 22:02

Another vote for Adidas Stan smiths! I wasn't much of a trainer wearer (other than converse) before I got them but I now wear them a lot! Smile

I also am thinking of getting a pair of Nike Air Force 1's low in white but I'm not sure if I'll be able to pull them off - I'm not very trendy! I have seen some women who look amazing in them

Mrs9C · 28/03/2017 09:06

New Balance look good, I'm after a pair, I have quite big feet for my height and flat trainers do make them look bigger.

sammy891 · 28/03/2017 23:08

Nike Thea & Adidas Superstars

PNGirl · 28/03/2017 23:21

I have New Balance 996 in navy and 574 in bronze, Adidas Superstars, black and purple Nike Air, black Nike Tanjun (cheap in Sports Direct) and some raspberry Superga. They're all very comfortable.

verite · 29/03/2017 10:40

Yet another vote for Stan smiths. Comfy and look good - what's not to love.
