Do you think this is nice or hideous?

www.asos.com/asos/asos-co-ord-midi-skirt-with-postcard-print/prd/7728239?iid=7728239&clr=Multi&SearchQuery=midi%20skirt&pgesize=36&pge=0&totalstyles=807&gridsize=3&gridrow=7&gridcolumn=1

For the summer- with a plain blue vest top or tshirt? Obviously a tan and sandals.

RL opinions were on the hideous side!

Hid. Sorry

bionicant · 24/03/2017 21:16

pretty

ImperialBlether · 24/03/2017 21:16

Sorry, I think it's hideous, too!

Screamer1 · 24/03/2017 21:16

Not loving it tbh. Nice shape though.

Backingvocals · 24/03/2017 21:17

Looks like a tablecloth in a cheap Spanish taverna. Does that kill it sufficiently?

MrsDc7 · 24/03/2017 21:17

Depends massively on your body shape - tall then maybe okay - short arse like me? Hid

IDoAllMyOwnStunts · 24/03/2017 21:17

I quite like it! Not enough to pay £38 quid though.

Boiled7Up · 24/03/2017 21:17

Ah, I dunno. I might style it out.

EsmesRedPetticoat · 24/03/2017 21:18

I like it. Quirky. Horribly styled for that picture though.

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 24/03/2017 21:18

I quite like it, but the pattern is... not to my taste. If I looked like the model I would wear it though

ChicRock · 24/03/2017 21:19

Hideous.

RemusLupinsChristmasMovie · 24/03/2017 21:19

I like it, but would like it much better if not so blue. Am a fan of 'quirky' skirts.

Boiled7Up · 24/03/2017 21:19

The black detail that looks like cornicing 7/8 of the way down doesn't add to it, I would prefer it without that.

Oh, a quirky skirt lover! Where else do you shop? Anything in mind for the summer?

OP posts:
PollytheDolly · 24/03/2017 21:20

Definitely quirky! I love it.

LoupGarou · 24/03/2017 21:36

I don't like it, Lindy Bop do some beautiful skirts in similar styles, I love this one...

FlappyRose · 24/03/2017 21:38

I quite like it

ohdoadoodoo · 24/03/2017 21:39

I like it!

Bluntness100 · 24/03/2017 21:40

Actually I think it's lovely, which is unusual for me as I usually hate patterns...however I think you need to be tall and slim to carry it off. It would also be lovely on holiday.

dudsville · 24/03/2017 21:40

Whether this outfit works or not depends on you.

PollytheDolly · 24/03/2017 21:47

I get my stuff from charity shops mostly. Actually my DH picks most of it, he has a really good eye for spotting stuff (and for the house which everyone says is quirky and eclectic). I tend to glaze over when shopping.

I'd say I dress different to most around where I live but I like that.

CointreauVersial · 24/03/2017 21:56

I had one just like it in 1982. I think I made it in Needlework Class at school.

Having said that, it's OK. I reckon you could make it work with a plain top and sandals.

RemusLupinsChristmasMovie · 24/03/2017 22:06

In summer a 'quirky' skirt with a cami, a cotton cardigan or denim jacket and sandals is one of my favourite outfits.

Just been looking at this/

Goforit2017 · 24/03/2017 22:07

Cute if you're young and tiny.

Destinysdaughter · 24/03/2017 22:41

Pretty on her.
