Jeans for a short fat woman?

I'm short (usually have to buy from the petite section) and large, size 18 on a good day.
I need some jeans, preferably black preferably smarter.

I like boot cut. Forget skinny or slim or tight fitting.

Any ideas where to start looking.

(Evans only seemed to have stonewashed. It seems next no longer do size 18 in petite. M&S are all skinny...)

I'd maybe try Gap. I'm not sure they do petite but I think they will take things up for you.

Boden, but you will have to take them up!

Nydj (Not your daughter's jeans). Good quality second hand off eBay or brand new if you have the pennies.

Bonmarché sell larger, shorter jeans.

Gap sell petite on their website (not in my local shop). They are on the large size so you may find the 16s or 18s fit. They have a range of styles and offers all the time.

Tu at Sainsburys. I get all my jeans there.

Have you tried straight leg - I'm short (and round!) and found them much more flattering than boot cut.

antimatter · 25/03/2017 09:45

Try Sainsburys their short ones. However I tend to buy skinny jeans.

Thanks guys, I'll have a look at all those.

I have no theoretical problem with skinny jeans, I've just never managed to get a pair past my thighs!
