Best semi permanent hair colour?

I've been using L'Oréal casting creme colour for the last few years which is meant to last up to 24 washes, however I only wash my hair twice a week yet after a month all my gluteus are totally showing again.
So it's about 8 washes!

Can anyone recommend a better semi perm colour please? I don't want to do permanent dye as I'm scared it will ruin my hair.

I think bigger pants are in order rather than a different semi permanent hair dye. Hope someone else can help
