Yes it does look like a coat on backwards. Box pleats like that never sit right in my experience and whatever material it is made out of clearly wrinkles to buggery so it would be a no from me.

I sort of love the fact that she wears bonkers dressy clothes? Can't imagine anyone else needing to do that dolly dressing up thing (or getting away with it), I think my life is so relentlessly dress-down that I love seeing what she's wearing. She has made the classic, formal slightly cute/a teensy bit prissy style her own.

Would have been even better with a coloured shoe. Is it coral?

Does her lady in waiting have a hangover or just not like Katie any more? Why else would she let her walk out like that? She doesn't need all that make up. Thick black around the eyes and too much blusher.
