What to wear under a partly sheer top

I've got a top which has sheer fabric across the shoulders. You can see my bra straps underneath. Is this a no no? I don't really want to invest in a strapless bra.

I would just wear it even though shoulder straps were showing, but I have no class

terrylene · 23/03/2017 12:38

I would just wear a bra in the same colour, so it looks like a camisole layer.

SuperFlyHigh · 23/03/2017 14:20

I had similar problem. A nude bra helps or bra in same or contrasting colour.

My top is bright pink so wore nude, light pink or bright orange bras.

They're about £6 in primark!

rightsofwomen · 23/03/2017 17:02

I'm nowhere near a primark.

A bra in similar colour to sheer top

Bluntness100 · 23/03/2017 17:06

If you don't want to by a strapless bra the only way to get away with it is as others have said, a bra that's the same colour as the top, or nude.

Ok? Hmmm

Oh, that's a bit low at the back and shows more than just the straps.

Oblomov17 · 23/03/2017 20:01

I like it.

rightsofwomen · 23/03/2017 20:27

Oh it does doesn't it. Maybe a camisole as well. I only have black, dusty pink and bright pink bras.

Ooh. Random but I love the top. Where did you get it?

MrsMoastyToasty · 23/03/2017 20:35

You can get clear straps that attach to any strapless bra.

Closedenv · 23/03/2017 21:19

Lovely top but so annoying when they make them like that as it distracts from the lovely design. I guess it would have to be a cami if you want to wear it.

rightsofwomen · 23/03/2017 21:36

It's from good old Sainsbury's TU

RoganJosh · 23/03/2017 21:38

I've had some success just tucking bra straps down if you see what I mean.

Chewbecca · 23/03/2017 21:51

No, has to be strapless I'm afraid
