M&S shirt dress - thoughts?

I saw this shirt dress when I was in M&S the other day, looking for tights.

I really liked the look of it but I am worried that only older people have reviewed it - is it an 'old' dress?
For context I am 5 foot 2, size 8 and would wear it as a dress with ankle boots (and nude underwear as one of the reviews says it is a bit sheer)

I like it Although I have a feeling you're one of those people that looks nice whatever you wear! Looks good with the long cardi.

Going against the grain here, but I don't like it! It looks like something a member of Chairman Mao's worker corps might have worn.

However, styled well, it could look ok, I think.

Looks good OP. I have the blue one and it hasn't had creasing issues.
I hate how M&S put the ages of the reviewers in - why is it necessary? It can make me question my purchasing decisions too.

I like it and the way you've styled it

I tried this one from Asda to wear as a dress but then realised it was slit up the sides to the waist!

I like it. I have bought a few things from M and S and they were all reviewed by over 65's called Mavis so it did make me question my style choices but have had lots of compliments on them.
