The new frayed printed Zara coat... anyone got it?

Bought one last night online and wondering if anyone else has got the red / white version - what's it like on?

Personally I don't "get" the love affair with this coat - in blue or red.

It's pretty awful in my opinion and why would anyone take pains to buy something that thousands of other people have? It's become like a uniform.

Hi I bought the blue one last year and love it. The red one can be seen in action on the Thatcoat instagram page . Enjoy it - I think it's a classic now much like a camel trench is - thousands of people have one of those and yet it's still stylish xx

I saw it in Zara on the weekend ( no knowledge about it being popular), I was drawn to it because it's so nice. Not worth the price though.

If it's the one I saw last week, I picked it up cos it looked good but it didn't suit me at all, and it came up small- I bought a skirt in a small, but I reckon I'd have needed a large in the coat. I preferred the blue to the red.

Somebody posted one from Sainsbury's the other week which looked similar but nicer. I haven't seen either in RL though so not able to comment on quality, feel etc

Update: coat arrived yesterday... it looks TERRIBLE on me! Really tiny sizing and I'm obviously too norky for it. I look like a Beatles tribute act. Serves me right for trying to be on trend - back to Cos and Jigsaw for me!

I just tried the red one on in store and I actually laughed at how much it didn't suit me. The sizing came up very small and there was too much fraying going on for me. I have the original blue one from last year and that suits me (I think/hope!)
I definitely saw a hint of Beatles tribute act - so that makes two of us now. We have Holly as Ringo, I'll be Paul so if anyone cares to join us as John and George, let us know!

Agatha I got the Sainsbury one in a 14 and wasn't really sure if it was too big or was supposed to be "swingy" or something. May have to send it back for a 12,or even 10. Is quite petty though, a change in spring from the dull beige rain mac.
