Good quality t-shirts - where from?

Where do you buy your t shirts? I'm after cotton/maybe modal t shirts. I'm sick of looking and finding gazillions of viscose or polyester. Also I like normal short sleeve ones not cap sleeve or 3/4 or long. Also I'd prefer ones that you can't shoot peas through, i.e. decent quality, maybe, say over £10 each. That will keep their shape. Sounds a bit fussy but I can't believe I'm alone in this quest? I tend to team with skinny jeans. (Boring, I know)

Uniqlo supima cotton - really good quality basic tees in different styles and sleeve lengths. They wear and wash really well. www.uniqlo.com/uk/en/women/innerwear-and-loungewear/supima-cotton

I've recently bought some from M&S and I was surprised at how good quality they felt. There are a few different styles under the general heading of 'Pure Cotton'. They're about £6.50.

H&M - the ones in the Conscious bit.

I wear tee shirts every day and I like the Gap ones and for a more expensive option, Hush.

Dorothy Perkins for me.

Ah, thank you!

M and S are so short in the body though!

Iamastonished · 21/03/2017 22:35

Next are pretty good for basic T-shirts.

tobee · 21/03/2017 22:48

Yes I've found that I have to go a few sizes up because m&s t shirts are a bit short. I'm size 16 on top with an annoying large bust. Next were my go to but it's really tedious filtering through because they love man made fibre and very few are cotton.

I had a look at all suggestions now and feeling much more positive, thanks.

I've just bought some cotton/bamboo t shirts from Bam. Really lovely quality, wash well. I have a very long torso and bought the extra long infinity style.

ImYourWomanJonSnow · 21/03/2017 22:58

Uniqlo!

ImYourWomanJonSnow · 21/03/2017 23:00

And Toast but they're over your budget. I have a couple that still look great after two years.

VanillaLatteAndCake · 22/03/2017 08:31

I'm v.tall and these M&S ones are fine, I wouldn't normally shop there but I'm definitely getting a few more!

Iamastonished · 22/03/2017 08:33

I love the softness of bamboo, but it wears out very quickly. I have had bamboo socks that have gone in to holes in under a year.

Much as it pains me, I have to second Toast. I know they're way over budget but they're the best quality Tees I've ever bought. Last years,

H&M Logg range were pretty good but I'm not sure if they still do them.

Faz2015 · 22/03/2017 10:12

Gap does very good ones...

tobee · 22/03/2017 11:53

Well I've had a good browse following suggestions and I'm truly spoilt for choice now! Thank you, I like the look of the bamboo and Hush especially. I often swoon at Toast. I wish I was all tall and willowy and elegant and haughty like their models. Grin
