What is the answer to skirts clinging to tights?

I wore a nice viscose jersey dress today, or it was nice except for the horrible way it clings to my tights. If I wear a slip, the slip clings to my tights and the skirt to the slip.

Some people seem to manage but I have this issue with all skirts and dresses, except a suit type skirt with a lining. What's the solution?

I read somewhere to spray the tights with hairspray?
Haven't tried it myself though.

Hairspray works a treat.

StaticGuard is what you want. Heaven knows where it's available in Europe. I get friends to bring it back from the US, where it's cheap in every drug store.

Anti static spray, John Lewis

I used to work at M&S in the days of the clingy grey striped dresses and we always used to smooth a bit of hand lotion over our legs/tights. Always stopped the cling.

Or just put some body lotion on top of the tights and rub it in, nothing special job done no funny smell.
