Hi ladies, my 10 year old epilator has finally given up and I'm on the hunt for a new (and improved) version...

Does anyone have any recent purchases or recommendations?

I was gonna recommend mine, but it's about 12 years old Grin

And now I've jinxed it...!

Haha! I've been wanting a new one for a few years so secretly pleased and equally sad my old faithful has died!

Just bought a Panasonic to replace my Braun. It's much better, slightly faster and more nippers so seems to hurt a lot less. It also comes with a heel filer spinny thing that works a treat too.

My only advice is whichever one you pick, don't go for a cordless one. My old one stopped holding charge long before the motor was ready to give up. My newer corded one was half the price and the same in almost every other way.

I agree sesame....

What model did you get Ratón?

I have had this one for a few months and it has truly freed up hours of my life!

I give my legs a once over every couple of weeks and there is no horrible prickly-ness inbetween - I am really impressed with it.

Previously I had a cordless one and it was a bit crap.

summerson · 21/03/2017 17:41

Which one?! brand and model names please!!!

I like being Raton with an accent, makes me sound very exotic (though one step beyond my keyboard).

Anyway my Panasonic is an ES ED90 P511. Currently 79.99 in Argos. I went for the non wet and dry one as I don't like the idea of an electrical item anywhere near the shower. It is cordless though and I am only a month or so into it so could have battery trouble mentioned above.

Ahhh gracias ratón! My phone automatically changes Raton to ratón 🐭 😂 give you some sophistication 😜

I will google that model now thank you for replying!!!
