New jeans - where to start??

I hate buying jeans. I hate it more than buying swimwear!

Size 10-12, 5'11", high-waisted, broad hips, stomach is worst feature (never flat enough).

Can anyone give me a clue (brands) as to wear to start? Preferably international brands (i.e., not Next/George at Asda, etc, as I'm in Aus).

Willing to go spendy. $$

I'd go to a specialised denim store, or the best denim department of a good department store, and ask them to help. They should know their stuff and bring everything to you to try until you find the right pair.

Also, maybe have a look at Donna Ida's website, I think it may give ideas for good brands / makes for different shapes.
