La Roche Posay BB Blur

...anyone found it too powdery?

I bought this and the Effaclar Unifiant but am finding the Unifiant seems to not want to absorb and 'slides off' when I'm blending and the Blur is a lovely texture but too powdery and seems to clean to any dry spots (despite moisturising)

Not sure it's helping that I bought a 10x magnifying mirror to check the blending!

Are you supposed to see it on your skin or I'm being too fussy?!

Cling to any dry spots and not blend away

Found some images on Google

From a distance it looks amazing but close up is a different story

Have tried finger tips and a foundation brush and with/without moisturiser but even after prolonged blending it doesn't 'disapoear'

I don't want to look like I have it on!

I'm over 40 and a complete bake up novice if it helps - skin much clearer since using LRP cleansers, serum, moisturisers etc but starting to feel I need a little help now

I didn't like it. I found it looked powdery and settled in my lines as the day went on, plus was a bit too dark for me.

I love it! It must depend on skin type. I think it looks really natural.

HLBug · 18/03/2017 18:42

Didn't work for me either. I was really sad as my friend who is a dermatologist says that they're one of the better skin care companies out there.

It's only for really oily skin I think. It looks good on me but a bit pale.

AwkwardSquad · 18/03/2017 19:42

It didn't work for me. Made me look dead.

ChishandFips33 · 18/03/2017 20:17

Loveka what type of skin do you have?

Aw well there's another £33 wasted on make up! Think I'll stick to skin care and mascara/lippy!

then wonders if mixing it with something will salvage it

Put it on over a few drops of a facial oil.
