Charlotte Tilbury's Magic Dry Sheet Mask-Amazing!

I was a bit sceptical about this as I think a lot of her products have great PR but don't quite deliver. However, after a family death, money worries and months of poor sleep, my skin frankly looked shit. Grey, dry patches, spots and generally dull and lifeless.

I tried the mask today and it's amazing! I put it on for 15mins whilst blow drying my hair (I read somewhere that the heat would make it work better) I couldn't feel anything and took it off expecting to look the same but grumpy after wasting ££, but my skin looks great, all glowy and fresh. Even my jaw line looks tighter. I'm tempted to put it back on!

Just thought I'd let you know in case anyone was wondering if it lived up to the hype.

Downside is you look like a serial killler with it on 😂

But the ingredients aren't unusual for a mask so I really don't understand the hype.
Shea butter is the second ingredient and that gives many people spots.

I don't know Kennington only that I've probably tried over a hundred facemasks in my time and none have given me such an instant result. I'm usually ok with shea butter but obviously it's too soon to say if it will give me spots. If you know you're sensitive then it would probably be best to give it a miss, maybe there's something in the dryness that makes it different.

I think it's important to know when you're being fed bad science but equally I've had bad results with things that have scientifically sound results and great ones with things that don't. It's always a bit of a gamble so if something works (or equally doesn't) I think it's good to let people know, especially if it's something expensive.

I've been curious about these. I really rate her clay mask and it's good to read an impartial review of the sheets!

Love the photo! How much do they cost?

whitershadeofpale · 17/03/2017 14:06

£18 and you can use it 3 times (I'll definitely try an eek an extra out). I think you can get 4 for £60 too.
