www.marksandspencer.com/mothers-day-beauty-box/p/p22510812?OmnitureRedirect=mothers+day+beauty+box Anyone buying it? I'm tempted as I really enjoyed the advent calendar, ended up with some stuff I'd definitely re-buy, but this box looks as if it's more 'pampering', if you know what I mean, rather than skincare.

Well, just realised I'm almost out of two staples I get from M&S anyway, so I don't need to spend anything I wouldn't have had anyway, so it's on its way.

Nah. Too much rose scented stuff. Shame.

Nanasueathome · 16/03/2017 08:05

Thank you
I've ordered it, along with Korres shower gels as they are buy one, get one free

Bloosh · 16/03/2017 08:11

I like the idea of this but have never bought any beauty stuff from M&S. Any recommendations?

Gingernaut · 16/03/2017 08:16

Beauty Box

ilovecherries · 16/03/2017 08:19

I guess it depends on your skin concerns, Bloosh. I like the Emma Hardie cleansing balm, the Ren cleansing milk, absolute night cream, and stila and Rosie by Autograph make up. Also got liquid gold in the calander at Xmas, and I like it, but I only use it once a week, it's powerful stuff!

Thanks for fixing my link, gingernaut. Wish posts were editable.

I like REN stuff so that's a good tip

Housewife2010 · 16/03/2017 10:17

My recommendations - L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil &Lavender Hand Wash.

YouWereRight · 16/03/2017 10:44

Bugger, I've just bought a load of The Ordinary gumpg, and can't really justify buying more.

I love rose scented stuff too.

WholeL0ttaRosie · 16/03/2017 11:00

Thanks for the heads-up, nice that you can use multiple offers - the Emma Bridgewater range is buy two and get hand creams free so might stock up for gift cupboard and keep the beauty box for me...

BeMorePanda · 16/03/2017 11:03

I love the PURE skincare range and needed to top up on day cream, so got the BB for free - great deal.
I also get it delivered to my local M&S shop (food only) and it will be delivered tomorrow - easy.

MorrisZapp · 16/03/2017 11:09

Marie Claire has free Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream free this month, four quid for 15ml.

AgathaMystery · 16/03/2017 22:50

The REN serum is amazing

BeMorePanda · 17/03/2017 16:46

got my beauty box today.
DD2 will want to fake an "unpacking" video so I will let her open it later. Grin

BeaLola · 17/03/2017 17:48

Agatha mystery - which REN serum did you mean ?

Liiinoo · 17/03/2017 17:55

My little heart went pitter-patter when I saw the title of this thread. I LOVE a beauty box! But when I actually looked at it I was very disappointed - it's all toiletries, no make-up.

It all looks a bit 'old lady' to me (and I say that as someone closer to 60 than 50).

BeMorePanda · 17/03/2017 18:01

Yes m&s think "mothers" are all about ruse fragranced products. 😜

BeMorePanda · 17/03/2017 18:01

ROSE!

KanyesVest · 17/03/2017 18:44

Since there are some m&s skin care experts around, what's the pixi glow tonic like? I have very dry skin but starting to get hormonal breakouts (at nearly 40 ffs Hmm ) and I was wondering if this would be more gentle than beady exfoliators?

Housewife2010 · 17/03/2017 19:16

I'm a Mother and I love rose scented products (and I adore lavender).

BounceBounceSplishSplash · 17/03/2017 20:25

I saw it in store today and most of the products looked very small. The perfume smelt quite nice though.

HairsprayQueen · 17/03/2017 20:44

Got this today as was buying stuff anyway.

Best find in it is the loccitane hand balm, I've used plenty of their hand creams before but this feels more nourishing and less claggy. Love it.

I like m&s perfumes anyway so that was nice (and a nice size).

Everything else is ok but not mind blowing.

I'm such a sucker for boxes and mini sized stuff though.

ilovecherries · 17/03/2017 21:10

kaynes, I like the pixi glow tonic. I only use it every second night, and I think my skin is certainly looking better over the last couple of months. I certainly prefer it to scrubs.

I picked up my order today so got my box, it's a bit twee but actually there isn't anything in it that I won't use.
