Stretching suede shoes

I have just bought some cheap faux suede shoes from the Internet, I love the style but they are a tiny bit tight. Is there any way to stretch them?

Clarks do a shoe stretcher spray (around £4) - you apply to the inside of the shoe and wear them as soon as you've sprayed and they should stretch whilst you've got them on. Works on leather, suede, canvas so I should imagine it would work on faux suede.

Alternatively the hair dryer method - put on a pair of thickish socks and then your shoes, direct the heat from the dryer to the shoes wiggle your feet and then walk round for a bit with socks on and this stretches them (I tried this successfully last week with a pair of boots ) it's a little uncomfortable but it works.

Shoes and socks on - not just the socks!
