Tops for everyday/jeans combo

I'm on the hunt for some tops to go with a standard casual spring look of ankle length jeggings and girlfriend style calf length jeans (blue shades) with trainers or loafers.
Cheap as possible really. I have a good selection of Bretons but just wondering what other style of tops you'd recommend (sahm so just for playgroups/kids outings etc!).
I have quite a long body but can easily layer with longer layers underneath if necessary.

I'm going for checked shirts open over vests, with rolled up sleeves. Mine are mostly from New Look or ASOS.

I went into Matalan recently for the first time in years and got this for £12. Wore it yesterday with ankle skinnies and Stan Smith trainers. It will go with my loafers too.

It's viscose but feels and looks like cotton.

I love the second one you linked to Bounce. My wardrobe is seriously lacking in spring items and I'm feeling really overdressed in a jumper today.

You can't beat it for £12 and it does feel quite good quality for the money Dubious. I might have to visit Matalan more often

Great suggestions ladies, thank you! Loving those matalan shirts. I have to say I've picked a few bits up there over the years (love their long line vest tops) and if you choose well they can be surprisingly decent quality.

I saw the first one in Matalan last week and was seriously tempted.

Watching as pretty much had the same question myself! I live in jeans and bretons, could do with mixing it up a little for spring!
