Almost afraid to ask... twinsets?

Hiya,

I've become quite taken with the idea of twinsets (cardigan / thin t-shirt or sweater combination) - I know they are generally considered to be quite frumpy/for the more mature lady but I love the preppy style! Blush

Does anyone have any idea where I could buy a couple of sets, in non-pastel colours, and not £££? I've looked online at Woolovers (not keen on the pastel shades) and Peter Hahn (nicer colours, but expensive).

I would love to see some with nice embroidery / embellishments if available too.

Any ideas please, lovely S&B ones?

Sorry - forgot to add that sizing is often an issue as I'm a size 20/22 on top.

Try Lands End. They do them.

Try Lands End...their supima cotton range often has cardigans and short sleeved tops which could be put together. Their colours are often a bit lairy so you'd have to exercise your discretion.

I think J crew do them! They might even have embroidery/embellishments too as they are v fashion forward.

Searched "Jackie" at J crew :)

Benetton use to do them.

There was a girl at my uni in the 90s who wore a twinset and pearls with blue hair and massive skater jeans with chains everywhere. She was soooooo cool.

Lands End - try the clearance section as you they usually have a huge range at pretty low prices.

Lands End has been perfect - thank you all!
