Skinny jeans with a proper high waist?

I need some jeans advice please!

I am a 5ft 7 size 12 but I haven't yet come anywhere close to having regained my figure due to 2 babies in the last 3 years.

I have a wardrobe full of cheap jeans which don't fit properly.

I want to find a pair of good quality skinny jeans with a proper high waist. Not one of these pretend high waisted pairs which in reality just sit awkwardly on my hip bones and I keep having to pull them up I'm looking at you, New Look.

I can't really justify more than £50 and would ideally like to spend less. But for the jeans of my dreams I'd go over £50.

Any tips? I don't want to waste yet more money on cheap jeans which don't fit. Thanks!

Right, I went to town today and visited all the shops suggested. I liked the Joni ones but thought the material seemed a bit thin. I might buy some for summer as the fit was pretty good on me.

I tried to look at the ones in Gap but I gave up. They'd crammed the rails so close together that I couldn't fit my average width buggy through without moving furniture. I know it's a first world problem but I got all flustered and gave up

In the end I bought some high rise super skinnies from M&S for £25. If they're good I'll buy some more. They have a range of colours available which I like. Hopefully these will be 'the ones'!

Needless to say I didn't set foot in New Look...

I have a pair of these. I got them half price in the sale. They hold everything in quite well, although they do fall down a little (I'm very out of proportion).

Jack Wills high waisted Fernham are a shade under 50 and really great - always stay skinny.

Jonis are good but ive started to feel like im basically wearing leggings.

The Top Shop Jamie definitely feels more substantial than the Joni.

catsridingrollercoasyers I'm so with you on the difficulty of navigating Gap with a pushchair! Another thread maybe!!
